Eytan painted a Newton Center store window for Halloween and won second place for 3rd graders. There was an awards ceremony in the mayor's office. (October 2006)

Trip to Oregon and Washington. We hiked in the Columbia River Gorge, at Mt. Saint Helens and on the coast. (July 2006)

Trip to Washington, DC and Baltimore. We visited the National Mall, Air and Space Museum at Dulles, and stayed in Baltimore with Anne's college roommate, Abigail. (July 2006)

Eytan and Noah had baseball games in the same field on Eytan's 8th birthday. We had a party for Eytan after the game and everyone decorated cupcakes. (May 2006)

Trip to New York City: We flew to New York, stayed with Eva's family, visited the Metropolitan Museum and rode the train home. (April 2006)
